Spring has sprung and it calls for a reset - introducing my new Feng Shui Programs

Hi Reader,

Spring is here and isn't she amazing?

NYC -Trees blossoming overviewing the Empire State Building

When Spring comes, we start opening more our windows, airing up our homes and going lighter on everything. That's often when we do a "deep cleaning" and declutter our spaces. And that is a good thing to do, since when you start accumulating dust on objects/spaces, that will become stagnant Chi, creating blockages in those areas of your life.

Thinking of that, and now that I'm a Certified Advanced Feng Shui Consultant, I have exciting news to share! I'm also decluttering my website (still undergoing) but I started by restructuring my Feng Shui programs, so that I can help you - either if you want to focus only on one room or on your entire space. My programs range from a simple consultation, where I can just study your space in terms of Feng Shui and help you reorganize your furniture layout, suggest a few objects, and colors for cures (if you're happy with your existing furniture and just want to have a better flow/energy in your space), to a more complete study of Interior Design with a Feng Shui component, where I suggest items based on your budget, style and needs using Feng Shui adjustments.

-Choose Inside 1 Chi if you only need to adjust Feng Shui in 1 room, with your existing furniture (possibly adding accessories related to Feng Shui cures).

-Choose Inside 1 Chi Design if you want to adjust Feng Shui in 1 room, with new furniture and Interior Design study.

-Choose Inside 2 Chi if you only need to adjust Feng Shui in your entire home, with your existing furniture (possibly adding accessories related to Feng Shui cures).

-Choose Inside 2 Chi Design if you want to adjust Feng Shui in your entire home, with new furniture and Interior Design study.

When we talk about "Feng Shui Cures" we usually refer to accessories, objects, colors, and symbols that when placed in the right spot can help to either slow down or rush the energy, depending on what's needed for each case. And although there are traditional Chinese Symbols to be used - like dragons, mandarin ducks, etc - since my Interior Design styling and background is contemporary modern, I only use those ancient symbols if requested. The most important thing in balancing the Chi is to use elements that you like.

And remember that everything has Chi, so even your energy is important, as it can create negative or positive Chi. It is a constant cycle as by creating calm and relaxed feelings in your space, you'll feel the positive effects of that balanced energy, and by reflecting that energy back to the space, you are contributing to the perpetuation of that positive and balanced energy. The same is also true for negative energy. Which is why I also focus on something so important to balance your physical energy - your nutrition.

As a curiosity, pets generally create a positive Chi but if they become sick, their Chi will then be negative. Speaking of which, I just thought of introducing you to my assistant and big cat - Mr. Grey. πŸ˜‰ We just moved - more to come on tips of how to move in NYC, in the next edition - and he's still getting used to the new place but enjoying the big windows and sunlight coming in (very Yang, which is great for the living room area).

Check out the new Feng Shui programs here, and if you want me and Mr Grey to help you, we will be happy to provide you with our best energy!

How the WildFit 90 Day Challenge is making a difference, during these pandemic times

Isn't it unbelievable as we're almost half way through 2021 and we are still dealing with Covid-19? I know a lot of us had a sigh of relief when we heard the vaccines were here, but now we are looking at a reality where:

a) the vaccines aren't a 100% guarantee you won't get the virus (apparently 5% of people who take the vaccine can still get very ill or die), plus you will need to get a boost in 6 months to 1 year, from the time you take it

b) the vaccines are still on an early trial and having a small percentage of serious secondary effects that are leading to death as well (you don't die from the disease, you die from the cure- difficult choice)

c) the virus is constantly mutating itself, leading to some questions about the full efficacy of these vaccines against the new variants

So polemics aside and if one should take the vaccine or not, I personally don't believe in a world of extremes so I'm not pro-vax or anti-vax. I think there are options, depending on your exposition rate/lifestyle and the more you can prevent and live with this virus, the better. It's here to stay and we are going to have to "learn to live with it". And I just read this great article that explains how many virus can infect humans without making us sick (read here)

"A virus, after all, does not necessarily wish its host ill. A dead host is a dead end. The viruses best adapted to humans have co-evolved over millions of years to infect but rarely sicken us. Human cytomegalovirus is a prime example, a virus so innocuous that it lives in obscurity despite infecting most of the world’s population. (Odds are that you have it.) Infections with human cytomegalovirus are almost always asymptomatic because it has evolved a suite of tricks to evade the human immune system, which nevertheless tries its best to hunt the virus down ."

The Atlantic "You Probably Have an Asymptomatic Infection Right Now"

Seems like most of the medical and science community are divided on how to treat, prevent and eradicate this virus. But one thing they agree upon is that if we are naturally in a better health state, the better chances we will have to deal with both the virus and the vaccine. So, focusing on what we can do ourselves, I would say - please invest in your health.

Previously, I have shared some tips on how to boost your immune system and if you haven't watched it yet, you can watch it here. And following up on that, I wanted to share how WildFit is making a difference in many people's lives... By now, we all heard how obesity and diabetes are some of the underlying conditions that make people more vulnerable to Covid-19. Changing these conditions is hard but not impossible, and as I was discussing with a colleague WildFit Coach and Doctor (who also sees a lot of patients with diabetes), about the possibility of getting another client with diabetes, he shared how he's getting more and more patients with obesity and diabetes, and how our work is helping creating change. Dr. Ruben Ruiz is currently co-writing a book about "post-diabetes" with Eric Edmeades and I really hope they put out their work soon.

My conversation with a WIldFit Coach colleague who is also an MD

Change is not an easy thing to achieve, and to do so it requires replacing old habits with new ones, but with understanding of why the old patterns were there, it becomes so much easier. WildFit makes a difference precisely in that.

I recently had the privilege to coach 2 amazing clients through the WildFit 90 Day Challenge, who were health care providers. Not only they both described WildFit as "Life changing", they also agreed with Eric when he says that "the world is not living a health crisis, but a self-care crisis".

And by coaching them, I also learned that through connecting in a smaller group, they could share their vulnerabilities much more openly and it was easier for me to lead them into change. So I've decided to make my WildFit 90 Day Challenge, a very personal experience of groups of 2-3 people maximum so that you can get a closer to one-on-one coaching experience, while still benefiting from being in a community. It's also much easier to coordinate the zoom coaching sessions to a schedule that fits everyone, and I am even offering the option to make a connection group through Telegram instead of Facebook, if that is a preference.

I have just opened spots for my next WildFit 90 Day Challenge, that starts on Monday April 26th, 2021 (yes, you have less than 10 days to decide on changing your health!) You can be part of my small group this time, or if you don't make it in time, I can keep you on the list for other openings, or even refer you to amazing coaches who lead bigger groups. Either way, my commitment is to health. My commitment is to you. I hope you join WildFit, because ultimately I know it will also change your life.

Email me back, signup directly or book a discovery call through the link on this page of my website

Here's a snapshot of a conversation that made may day, with my 2 clients, and for me it just shows how truly WildFit and us, WildFit coaches are making a difference in this pandemic.

I hope I get to make a difference for you! Stay safe.
